Now, onto the poster…

I LOVED making this one. From the start, the aim was to make something that immediately felt nostalgic, but still had a really strong and stand alone layout. The grain, texture and rougher elements helped bring that 2000s grunge feel to life, while the structure keeps everything feeling clean and easy on the eye! 👀

I spent a lot of time playing with the balance between the type, imagery and textures, making sure nothing was competing for attention and everything sat exactly where it needed to and I love itttt!!!

This was also another chance for me to push Photoshop further into my design process, which I’m really enjoying!

Lately, I’ve got my creative spirit back after feeling really creatively blocked… 🎨

…Simply getting out of my room, going to new places and experiencing different things has helped me find that spark again. I wasn’t looking for the inspiration - it just finds you.

And yes, some days I’m still sat in my room thinking ‘I need to get out’ 😂 But I have to remind myself: if I want to keep exploring, I also need to make time to sit down and do the work that gets me there.

Today’s lesson: put the effort in, even when it feels difficult. You’ll get right where your working towards 👈

We’re back for another month of Friday Collective! Shocker….

This month issss….Floral Arranging Workshop

Join us at Abingdon Street Market Blackpool for a creative evening where you’ll make your own mini bouquet using dried flowers, along with a couple of handmade greeting cards to take home 😎

No experience is needed, just come along and give it a go!Whether you’re coming on your own or with a friend, it’s a great chance to meet others, get creative and slow down.

I went away expecting just a change of scenery, but I came home with a whole different perspective 👈

A few reminders I needed:

Slow down. Not everything needs to happen today.

Care a little less about things and don’t obsess over judgement.

Stop feeling guilty for taking time for yourself.

Give yourself the space to grow.

Be kinder to yourself.

As a business owner, it’s easy to get caught up chasing the next deadline, the next client or the next goal.

But sometimes the best thing you can do, for yourself and your business, is step back, breathe and trust the process.
