Dare to dream of what your perfect day would look like,
How would it feel when your head hit the pillow at night?

It is your life, you own it no one else,
It is up to you to trust in yourself.

I know it’s hard, but you can, you must,
Write things down, it helps you believe, put yourself first.

Now back into the present, what things stay the same?
One by one, do all the things that reignite your flame. ❤️

💖WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY💖

In an ever-changing world, it feels as if we are more vulnerable than ever!

We can be connected with thousands, yet feel isolated and lonely.

We see our idols suffering and even taking their own lives. It shows us that anyone can be affected at any time.

No matter how rich, famous or happy they may seem, no-one is immune from having mental health problems.

Our children are growing up in a world where they don't need to leave the house to buy food, communicate with their mates, or even play sport (albeit through games).

The online world offers us amazing
opportunities to improve our lives.

However, it is critical to remember that it should not be our primary focus.

There are too many people that are lonely and missing human connection.

After the past few years it's clear just how important it is for our mental health.

As we approach the winter months which can be even more isolating, don't forget reach out to your friends (even those who appear fine).

Take care of yourself and each other. 💖

🥰🥰🥰 Proving yourself wrong 🥰🥰🥰

We all have negative self-talk sometimes. Even the most positive, optimist, confident person may find themselves thinking something isn't possible for them.

Reason for that is many our beliefs are are shaped by our previous experiences.

So if we failed at something before, our brain goes straight that memory and experience.

We must challenge our beliefs whenever we feel that belief isn't serving us.

For me, over a year after burnout, I am still not the same person I was. I lack consistency (which was difficult for me anyway-ADHD) and quite often if my brain doesn't think something is 'worth it' I will sack it off.

My previous post shows a diamond painting I bought with the words "Chances of me finishing this?". 🤣

I knew as I started I would probably think it wasn't worth the effort. (In truth it wasn't look at it!😅 I digress..) but I had to prove to myself I could finish it regardless of whether I thought it was a waste of time or not.

My brain was continually thinking negative things about what I was doing but I ignored it and kept going. It was actually painful at times.

So I proved to myself I can hyperfocus on things I don't actually want to do. (Something I previously thought I couldn't do).

I am going to build on these thoughts as I heal.

Have you ever managed to prove yourself wrong? Or can you think of something you keep telling yourself that you would love to be proved wrong about?
