Finally done it! Years of practice, hundreds of pounds on range balls, I finally hit a hole in one!

Any hole in one is one of the greatest achievements in golf.

One good initiative at was the free pitch mark repair tool.

I usually buy one at each course I play as a memento and while this one isn’t particularly stylish, it’s probably the one I’ll remember most.

A great marketing tool as well as an aide memoir to fix those pitch marks in the greens.

Really enjoyed my visit to . So many great holes that I felt I could really attack, it’s a fun course. I’ll definitely be back.

Awful news from , thieves have broken in and stolen the club trophies.

A new initiative at asking members to help maintain the course.

Members pay over £1300 (over £1500 if you add the joining fee) a year to play this course, how would you feel about this?

A bit disappointed to see the grass practice area at Parley Golf Centre is no more.

On the plus side these extra driving bays are a much needed addition to this excellent facility.

Popped into during the week and I’m impressed. They’ve done an amazing job since the last time I visited. The greens were excellent, as were the fairways. At £25 for the round it was outstanding value.

Well worth a visit.
