We produced the neck label on the bottle using Ebony Coltskin emboss, and the gold box label. A full coverage gold foil on the box label certainly had its challenges, but we did it!

New Work -
Lineage is at the heart of both the brand and its products, so we wanted to ensure that the nine generations of Thomsons were represented in the physical bottle. We created handcrafted typography and monograms inspired by the historical archives, as well as a bespoke glass bottle design to celebrate the nine generations – the first of its kind – with a side for each generation and the collective monogram sitting front and centre.
We felt it was important that this bottle retained a distinctive whisky silhouette, a testament to the family’s authenticity and heritage. After many iterations and 3D design prototyping, the final finish was refined slightly for manufacture in glass, while still delivering our ultimate objective of creating a timeless but contemporary bottle.

In collaboration with .me and we created three tiers of packaging for the Core, Rare and Crown ranges – all based around this notion of “uncasking”. In each instance we turned the hypothetical cask inside out, bringing the charred interior to the fore.
We were thrilled to be nominated for both Craft and Packat last year’s are were delighted to walk away with the win for the Craft award for our work.
