Yesterday I picked up the keys to my shop! It still doesn’t quite feel real.

Today it’s all systems go as I start transforming the space into the home of I’d Wear That and my embroidery tattoo parlour. First job on the list? Sanding the floors! 💪🪵

There is a LOT to do, but I can’t wait to share the journey with you all. Here’s to new beginnings, big dreams, and plenty of dust! 🤣

Happy 100th Birthday to Sir David Attenborough 🖤🌍

What an inspiration you have been to me over the years. As a child, I was always bringing injured animals home to look after… birds, hedgehogs, mini beasts… anything that needed caring for really. Your programmes made the world feel magical and taught so many of us to appreciate and protect it.

Sometimes in my later years I wonder what life would have looked like if I’d pursued working with animals instead of fashion. But life has a way of taking us where we’re meant to go, even if it’s not always the path we imagined.

Thank you for opening generations of eyes to the beauty of nature, and for reminding us all to care a little more deeply about the planet and the creatures we share it with.

Busy behind the scenes getting everything ready for the shop reopening ✨

As part of the refurb, I’ll be installing a proper changing room… and I’ve been making the curtains using fabric scraps from my stash, plus a few gems from 🪡🧵

I’m using a Korean technique called , and I love how it gives a beautiful stained glass effect. Such a perfect way to bring new life to leftover fabrics 💛
