This summer, Danny Fenton is stepping out on his own. Best known as the lead guitarist in his father's iconic 1980s band The Vapors, Danny will be hitting the road for a series of acoustic solo gigs across the Midlands. He kicks things off in Derbyshire at the Manor House Hotel in Dronfield, performing as part of the One Valley Beer Festival on Saturday 6th June at 7:30pm.

Entry to the festival is FREE and Danny will be performing songs from his newly released EP “Everything & Nothing” the debut release from his new project Danny Fenton & The Lightkeepers. Expect sharp songwriting, heartfelt delivery, and his unmistakable guitar work.

This summer is shaping up to be Danny’s busiest yet. In August he heads across the Atlantic for a major multi‑band 80s tour travelling across America and including a date in Canada. Alongside performing with The Vapors, Danny will also be taking to the stage as guitarist for Katrina, formerly of Katrina & The Waves, bringing his trademark energy to audiences across North America.

The buzz from last week's Lightkeepers gig clearly hasn't died down, and if you're heading to Portmeirion next Saturday, there's something worth knowing. There won't be a Lightkeepers merch stand at the event, but you can still pick up a few things if you order ahead.

We have a limited run of black logo t-shirts for £17, available to collect while you're in the village, a nice way to show Danny some love during his afternoon set.
