Having spent a lot of time on NFT projects for friends, I decided to play around with some of my own imagery. Here is a design inspired by/plagiarised from that involved dynamic animated top trumps style collectible NFTS… when NFTs weee a thing.

Believe it or not this was a design used for a club night in Birmingham. I wouldn’t have survived as a fine artist if it wasn’t for graphic design work, creating promo material for record labels around the midlands. However, no matter how creative you wan to be, event promo always tends to follow an out-of-the-box recipe. This however was different. I was presented with a brief so far removed from anything I’d been given. It was a brave vision of creating an experience leaning more towards huge visuals, artistic licence and a focus on something more than just DJ’s spinning tunes. The night was called Continuum at the Custard Factory. I had an absolute blast creating this. They asked for something completely different so I explored a style I’d never done before, Manga.

Final shot from upstairs of the Minirig mural we created for the Shop Launch. We were meant to have an artist create a piece but last minute had to get it done ourselves. It’s an amalgamation of all our most popular Minirig Engraved designs. Paint and pen.

Throwback to the mad mission of getting the Minirig HQ ready for launch day. Our muralist wasn’t able to create one in time so we slapped together a design and I got to work. Was a proper good project with the last lines being drawn as the doors opened to punters.

A 3D experiment with visualising the Julia Set (using Mandelbrot software) Aidy & Co was originally set up to help teach my creative process and offer paid work to creative individuals. This image was created after delving into the world of fractals. Through open source communities and software I was able to splice these images together to create futuristic worlds. The Mandelbrot set is the set of all c for which the iteration z → z2 + c, starting from z = 0, does not diverge to infinity. Julia sets are either connected (one piece) or a dust of infinitely many points.

A little experiment using Ai to create futuristic eyes for my A-Eye Series (see what I did there…). I took a selection of eyes and then spliced them into images of humans. The idea was to explore what a futuristic criminal database of rogue AI machines, may look like.
