Q3 2026 Review — What We've Achieved!
A massive thank you to all the local businesses who have helped Eco Clean Exeter grow! Looking back over the last three months, writing it down makes it clear just how far we've come. Here is everything we accomplished across July, August, and September:
🌿 July: Systems, Fleet & Upgrades
🗓️ Service Milestones: Completed 50 regular cleans (across a busy 5-week month), 1 oven clean, and 18 commercial cleans.
🔒 Professional Standards & Security: Signed up with BrightHR for professional HR systems and complete GDPR compliance.
🌐 Online Booking Launch: Launched our online booking service via Setmore Appointments, enabling customers to book seamlessly without having to speak to anyone.
📈 Expanding Reach: Kicked off our 3rd and 4th commercial service contracts, and were approached by Exeter Homes Trust to advertise in their local newsletter.
🚲 E-Bike Fleet Growth: Our brand-new Fiido e-bike arrived and was built by our local mechanic, Jay Cycle Chauffeur - Exeter.
💻 Business Infrastructure: Connected with our local accountant, updated our service offerings on Setmore, and launched our brand-new website built by local designer Chris at Ryotech - AI & Marketing Services.
👕 Brand Identity & Equipment: Received our new staff uniforms with logos printed on the back from our friends Penguin Uniform, alongside new branded cotton bags to carry our equipment and products.
⚡️Energy Efficiency: Invested in Dyson stick vacuums for lower power consumption compared to plug-in vacuums—delivering equal power while reducing costs for our customers.
📊 Digital Traffic: 210 people viewed us on Google, with 12 website visits.
🚲 August: Team Expansion & Local Partnerships
🗓️ Service Milestones: Completed 41 regular cleans, 37 commercial cleans, 5 student flat end-of-tenancy cleans (including 1 student move-in clean where the client wasn't happy with the clean by another team), 1 oven clean, and 2 other deep cleans.
👥 Team Growth: Paul joined the team to support commercial cleaning and deep cleans.
📋 Reaching Capacity: Hit maximum capacity for regular domestic cleaning clients and established a waiting list of 3 customers!
🏆 Community & Marketing: Launched our monthly social media competitions and started advertising in the local Reconnect Magazine.
🌱 Zero-Emission Supply Chain: Partnered with our UK supplier Natural Collection (https:www.naturalcollection.com) to source 90% of our supplies, dramatically cutting delivery emissions.
🛡️ Comprehensive Insurance: Secured our business insurance through. Barclays UK via Simply Business, covering £1.5m Public Liability, £10m Employers' Liability, and 24/7 personal accident & illness/injury cover for the team.
🎨 Marketing Assets: Rolled out new leaflets and our very first business cards designed by Chris at at Ryotech.
📊 Digital Traffic: 296 people viewed us on Google, 16 website visits, and 1 direct text enquiry.
⚡ September: Regulation, Rest & Scaling
🗓️ Service Milestones: Completed 40 regular cleans, 32 commercial cleans, 4 deep cleans, and 1 oven clean.
🌴 Wellbeing: Joey took his first holiday of the year.
🤖 AI & Advanced Equipment: Joey spent time behind the scenes testing AI receptionists to find the best fit for the business. Plus, we invested in a Dyson fluffy head with special optical laser light to see hidden dust and dirt for even better results, alongside new E-cloth mops.
🧽 Heavy-Duty Equipment: Invested in a Shark Pet Pro Stain Striker carpet cleaner alongside Dirtbusters eco-friendly carpet shampoo.
🚲 Fleet Building: Purchased our 2nd Fiido e-bike to officially build out our commercial e-bike fleet.
⚖️ Legal Compliance & HR: Officially registered the business with the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office) for data protection, put legally binding contracts in place for our team via BrightHR, joined Bright Exchange to offer our team even more employee benefits, and ensured we are fully COSHH compliant.
📚 Team Training: Introduced mandatory online training modules for our team.
🤝 Directory Partnership: Partnered with Approved Business Ltd.
📸 Media & Growth: Had professional photos taken of the business ready to update our website and socials in Q4. Plus, our waitlist grew to 7 customers!
⭐ Review Milestone: Closed out Q3 hitting a fantastic 20 5-star Google reviews!
📈 Digital Traffic & Community: 411 people viewed us on Google, 25 website visits, 2 direct text enquiries, and our Facebook following officially grew to 300 followers!
