Our 3rd new cafe opening next week the the university centre in Birkenhead!

We’re growing again! ☕💚 Ground Up is opening a new café at the University of Chester’s University Centre Birkenhead NEXT MONDAY!!!

Based in Marriss House, we’ll be keeping nursing students, staff and professionals in the building fuelled with great coffee and a welcoming place to recharge.

Created by The Petty Pool Trust, Ground Up is all about building skills, confidence and opportunities for neurodivergent young people.

This is our third café outside Petty Pool, joining Theatre Porto in Ellesmere Port and The Proud Place in Manchester.

More than coffee. A place to belong. 💚

Last training session of the season and what a match! Almost rained off but we stuck it out!

Proud to play for, and very proud to sponsor this awesome team and a massive thank you to every single woman and girl (over 40 of us on peak training days), who have turned up this year and tried a new sport and fallen in love with cricket and made some brilliant mates! ❤️🏏

Life is really busy. I know. I run 2 businesses and I've got young kids who do all the clubs and i do alllllllll the parenting stuff. But find the pockets of joy anyway. 💗 no one's going to give you permission ....

It can be really hard to justify time for yourself when there’s work to do, people who need you and a list that never seems to get shorter.

But sometimes there’s a little window. An hour. An early morning. A chance to finally try that thing you’ve been saying “one day” about.

Life is short! Squeeze in as much joy as you can!

What a brilliant Women in Business morning! 💗

Thank you to everyone who came, including so many lovely new faces. I’m genuinely chuffed to see this positive community growing so quickly. We missed our regulars who couldn’t make it too!

For anyone new here, I’m Emma. I'm the CEO of Emma Bellis Ferreira, a marketing, PR, social media and events company, as well as , which brings together Women in Business, mixed business Walk & Talks, retreats, challenges and slightly mad adventures like coffee raves and climbing Snowdon at sunrise!

At the heart of it is something I call a Confidence Flex. One small action that grows your confidence, such as attending an event alone, introducing yourself, sending the email or saying yes to something new. Every flex gives you evidence of what you’re capable of.

I love seeing everyone cheer each other on, share leads and recommend each other’s businesses. Together, we can also become a real force for good by supporting charities, local schools, sports clubs and our wider community.

💗 Walk & Talk: Wednesday 23 September, 9am outside Tilly’s. Everyone welcome.

💗 Women in Business: Wednesday 14 October, 9am.
