BRAND REFRESH!

I’ve had a bit of a brand refresh. I felt that something wasn’t quite working for me anymore so I took a step back and evaluated my aesthetic. This feels more like me, the font choices and brand assets feel better rooted to me and my influences!

‘How much for just a logo?’ 🤷🏼‍♂️

It’s a question I get asked a lot and each time I do, I want to boil my own head.
But a lot of business startups just want a logo. I get it, it’s the cheapest option and it will help you get off of the ground.

But what if I said, just one logo will not cut it.
A logo on it’s own doesn’t really do a lot. It’s just an image with your name on.
If you really want to make your mark, you need to get your branding in check.
The logo is just the beginning but having a cohesive brand brings everything to life.

A hastily drawn DIY logo, really does nothing for a business.
It’ll be easily forgettable and lost in the sea of competition.

Having a brand that fully represents your business and your values is the key to success.
It ensures your business stands out, stays memorable and helps you build trust.

Colour theory and psychology plays a massive role in branding and can often be the reason why a brand identity either succeeds or fails.
When used correctly, it is a powerful tool to help take your brand to the next level.

They can determine first impressions and whether someone interacts with your brand.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but if you are a business owner, you really shouldn’t be getting your friend, family member, dog or neighbours best friend who you say hello to now and then to make you a logo just because they have a computer. 🤷🏼‍♂️
