Well just like that we are 6 years and counting in to this business!

Sometimes as a business owner you just become blind to your sucsess but honestly at this point I have achieved about 90% of my initial goals in business

Over the years we have invested multiple tens of thousands in to the business and continue to evolve

The main part of this job as a business owner is to actually watch and listen to feedback by customers and implement any fixes possible to any teething issues

For the past few years multiple customers complained about slow print speeds when we used to sublimate on to slate with the average print time of around 35 mins which didn’t really go down well with those that wanted 5 slates at once or even if a slate mis printed that would add another 35 min on to the job

We also had complaints about loud generators due to the heavy power demand required to power a heat press for the full day

This is why we invested heavily in to the Epson SC-V1000 which is the main reason why we are able to cut print times down from 35 mins to roughly 6 mins without any heat or drying as the technology uses uv light to cure a uv ink

This tech caused more problems for us as it required a temp range of between 15c and 30c

Mona showground in the morning is 5-7c which would cause issues for us and heatwaves also caused issues for us hence the reason we had invested in a heat pump / air con unit that was able to keep the trailer warm even during trading at events where the temp dropped below its operating parameters

Then we had a new issue as the insulation used in the trailer actually blocked signals to nearest 5G masts so we had to install a external communications hub on the trailer so we can actually run the trailer

Then somehow we bent the drawbar on the trailer and that needed replacing

And a week before the service was due to start the windscreen got smashed and it had to be the only vehicle capable of towing the unit so yea! Hopefully a replacement comes by next week and is fitted without incident 😂😂😂

But again this is the thing! In business you have to overcome problems faced!

Once the windscreen is repaired the trailer is ready to roll out of the drive and in to the markets!

We worked very hard on the past 2 weeks on our trailer to ensure it was updated and road worthy however despite us working hard we were unable to meet the deadlines for the market this Friday

The trailer is being finished of between today and tomorrow so I’ll put up a post with our locations for next week!

We tried our best but we were not able to meet the deadline for this Fridays market due to unfinished maintenance work on the trailer

It will definitely be on the 28th now!

The bad news is the SC-V1000 has a lockout at 30c or above which means at the moment with no aircon installed within the trailer yet so the printer will most likely not allow us to print anything tommorrow!

Roof mounted aircon has been ordered and is due in about 45 days from now 🤣🤣

We will give this Sunday a miss due to the adverse temp expected for tommorrow

There is a shortage of white ink at the moment and no distributor has them at all!

We had them on backorder since the 25th of June so hopefully they arrive soon as it’s going to be a very expensive repair if them printheads along with the ink delivery system dry out 🤣🤣🤣

We have enough ink to do about 200 prints which should just about get us through this Sunday!

We will take vigorous legal action against any individual that attempts to tamper with the running of our business!

There is absolutely no exemption or questions about it! If you tamper and cause damage to our equipment we will absolutely take very vigorous legal action against you!
