Went to Kirkcaldy the other week, it’s always a beautifully gritty grim place up there.

The project idea came about in 2023 when I and Edd Norval first came to the club, it was never going to be something we did right away, but we took time to learn about the club, the fans and everything the team stands for on the field.

Most clubs use re-brands as turning points or new starts, but with this - it isn’t.

It’s a celebration of history and putting it on the forefront of the world.

With such a rich heritage, the Dragon made more sense than anything we could think of.

The aim, was and always is, making Caernarfon the most Welsh club in Wales - and the World.

The “Cofis Yn Erbyn Y Byd” was something we coined, translating to “Cofis Against The World” - as not to say everyone is against us, but a statement of intent, that whatever comes our way, we’ll take it on - together, Un Clwb.

A team adored by many, ignored by none.

Caernarfon is a team, led by its supporters - and they are everything to the club, this was no easy challenge and they had every single say in how this went down.

Football might be about the team, the managers and everything else - but it’s NOTHING without the people who drive it forward, the fans.

I’m so proud to have led on this project, as part of a small team and i’m so, so proud of the rest of the board at CPD TREF CAERNARFON TOWN FC CYF and the media team in Andrew Walton, Gwion Owen Thomas, Gethin Griffiths and Mabon Rowlands.

The props though, go out to Christopher Payne and his incredible eye to detail and passion for designing club crests. Outstanding work as ever and super proud that we got him to do the design aspect of the project for us.

And as always, with many thanks to one of my favourite creatives of all time in Dïon Wyn for always producing a voice over that sends shivers across the face of Welsh Football.

I was never into the Welsh Prem and i’m not going to say i’ve been around forever with Caernarfon, but the 2-3 years or so since i have, has opened my eyes to what we have on our doorstep.

Away from the millions, the VAR, the PR, the budgets - we have this in its purest form.

Anyway, just you wait till the kits come out.

I’ve decided to start writing about my experiences as a creative freelancer and how I see the world through words.

It might go well.

Or it might be absolutely shockingly s**t.

We move.

A lot of people probably already know this, but to my millions of fans around the world - you might not.

A lot of my teens & 20s was spent in nightclubs, raves, house parties, fields and wherever else loud thumping music was played - either as a DJ or a promoter, which led me to putting on Wales’ second ever Boiler Room (still one of my proudest achievements to date) and this led me to falling in love with all of it.

I grew up listening to Groove Armada, Morcheeba, Underworld, Chemical Brothers and a lot of big-beat and it felt like the best music in the world. My music taste is un-pin-pointable and i love it.

I can be listening to System of a Down, Wu Tang Clan, Oasis, T***s & The Maytals, Brians Jonestown Massacre to thumping 140bpm Techno, DnB, Jungle and any other random genre my brain wants to listen to that day… and it’s part of me, daily. Immersing myself in music, new stuff, underground records and pure 60/70/80/90/00s nostalgia.

One thing this has helped me achieve, is being a poster designer around the UK. I’ve designed work for the likes of Sankeys, Ministry of Sound, SWG3, Mint Club and a load more - but my love and passion lies with & .uk.

Going into my 4th year with the team in Bristol, the full creative freedom has been my freedom. Allowing me to step away from the norm, the usual, the sports and the more professional stuff.

My posters reflect my music taste, in basically putting down how i feel into art.

It’s a lot of fun mainly and i don’t think i’ll ever stop loving doing this either.

Don’t really think i posted about this enough, whilst making this, my partner had spent 27 days in hospital after the birth of our daughter.

I didn’t really get the chance to come to terms with what was going on and it just didn’t click that this was happening at the time — but the boys over at gave me the chance to create this Tifo for Cymru against Belgium.

From being a fan in the stands, to contributing to the pre-game display - looking back it now, is just absolutely off its t**s.

2 years from idea, to concept, to design, to sourcing, this came together from real people, real die hard fans wanting to put Cymru to the world, through proper football culture.

I hate saying watch this space, but yeah, watch it - as we’re hoping there’ll be another one, very, very soon.

Viva La Alternative Wales, Viva La Cymru.

home kit launch for this season.

I always love my time up in Scotland, mainly for the Scotch Pies they do at Stark’s Park, but also, because i get to spend my time around Kirkcaldy and Fife.

This seasons kit launch was based around a tune written by — ‘Dancing On The Streets Of Raith’ where we took to the streets of Kirkcaldy and spent time recreating archival footage.

One of my first full Directing/Producer/Camera/Edit jobs — some challenge to turn around in about 4-5 days, but we did it chiefs.

Always a lover of gritty scenes.
