It's Friday morning and you're winding down for the weekend. Looking over your planner at the to-do's you did and the ones you didn't.
You've ticked off a lot this week but underestimated how long some what should have been smaller tasks would take and can already fill up the next week leaving no space for new tasks.

Your to-do list isn’t the problem.
Your time management system is.

You know what you need to do, and you aren't lacking energy to do the tasks - you love all of them (or most of them anyway).

You don't realise it that your Trello boards are limiting your creativity.
You think they help you with mapping out ideas.

You think you have freedom because you can move cards around and add colour covers.

But the truth is digital is limiting your creative mind from making new connections and jumping to bigger ideas.

When you are sitting on the floor surrounded by paper notebooks, calendars and all the colourful pens you have - you free your mind to think beyond a laptop screen - giving your brain permission to think bigger.

You get the best use out of your stationery when you let it work for - to clear your cluttered mind, hold your ideas and let new ideas flow.

Planning can feel more expansive when you give yourself permission and let yourself get your ideas out on paper.

I’m a social media manager, and I know how important it is to post regularly (how I refer to ‘posting consistently’)

But I needed that break so give my brain space to think and get clear on what I want this business to look like.
