Sometimes… sh*t happens. 😂

You make the plan, write the date down, you organise everything around it.

And then life says… actually, no.

Our 2027 launch has moved by one week to 17.09.26 and if there was ever a moment that summed up why we believe in planning, this might be it.

Because a planner isn’t there to guarantee everything goes perfectly.

It’s there for the appointments that move.
The deadlines that change.
The unexpected things that appear from nowhere.
And the weeks that need a complete reshuffle.

Good planning isn’t about sticking rigidly to Plan A. It’s knowing how to find your Plan B. 🤍

So, we’re taking our own advice, moving a few things around and getting ready to make this launch worth the extra wait.

If I could tell the Monique who started Perfect Planner Company 10 years ago one thing, it would probably be…

Things won’t always go to plan. And that’s okay. 🤍

Because if the last 10 years have taught me anything, it’s that life changes.

Plans change.
Priorities shift.
Things happen that we simply can’t control.

And sometimes, we have to completely rethink what happens next.

That’s actually one of the reasons I believe in planning more than ever. A good planner isn’t there to make life perfectly predictable.

It’s there to give you somewhere to come back to when it isn’t.

Somewhere to move things around, reassess what matters and make a new plan when the original one no longer fits.

Perfect Planner Company has grown alongside 10 years of exactly that… life, business, family, change, challenges and some pretty big pivots along the way.

And tonight, I’m going to be sharing something quite important with our VIP community on Facebook. 👀

September always feels like a little like January, doesn’t it? The routines return. We get fresh enthusiasm for exercise and healthy eating (well I do for sure!). The holidays end. And suddenly, boom!! We’re ready to get organised again.

So if your brain currently has approximately 476 tabs open, try this:

Write EVERYTHING down.

Then ask yourself:

🤍 What actually needs doing?
🤍 What has a deadline?
🤍 What can wait?
🤍 What can I let go of completely?

Finally, choose your top three priorities.

Planning doesn’t need to start with an elaborate new routine.

Sometimes it starts with a good brain dump and getting everything out of your head and onto paper.

There is no such thing as being “bad at planning”. Sometimes, you simply haven’t found a way of planning that works for your life.
