Poetry in music ♥️.
This song and video were made after Anca’s poem , THE WELL OF LOVE.
She came to the well carrying the memory of love—
a love once known, brief and fragile, now buried beneath years of loss.
After her first husband died, she prayed again and again,
and each prayer was answered with another name, another season,
until love itself became unfamiliar
and duty took its place.
The well was the only thing that remained.
Everything else had been taken from her hands
or pressed upon her shoulders.
Water she could draw.
Life she could not choose.
Then, on an ordinary day, the well changed its nature.
Water gave way to love
when she encountered the Righteous Lover—Jesus Christ.
There, she laid herself down completely
and was baptised, not by water alone,
but by surrender.
He spoke her true name into her ears.
He told her where she belonged
and whispered a future she had never dared to imagine.
And in His outstretched hand, marked by a holy wound,
she received a covenant—
a ring not of gold, but of sacrifice,
binding her to Him forever.
When she rose from this encounter,
she did not simply walk away from the well—
she awoke.
And love, once lost, lived again within her.
