After the success of our original set of CGI videos for Winmau Darts we were delighted to be approached by sister brand Red Dragon Darts UK to create a fresh and engaging CGI video to launch their new Nitro Flite range.

The project was delivered in 16:9, 1:1, and 9:16 formats, accompanied by a full suite of high-resolution marketing stills to enhance the video campaign.

Completed in just three weeks from the initial briefing to release, the DW Studio Ltd team once again delivered seamlessly, expertly guiding the client through every stage of the design process.

Celebrating a decade of DW Studio Ltd!!!

Much like a fine single-malt whisky, our studio has matured into a masterpiece of creativity and technical finesse. For over 10 years we have been creating a rich tapestry of CG visuals that range from sweetly imaginative animations to the deep complex tones of realistic simulations, refined with the essence of time, desire and dedication. The aroma of artistic endeavour fills our workspace with notes of precision, innovation, and the subtle spice of pushing the boundaries of what's possible. Each frame represents a carefully crafted sip, leaving a lingering impression of the studio's dedication to the art of CGI.

A revolutionary new technology that uses electrical energy to deliver materials into space with low emissions and at low costs.

Not a single CAD model was supplied for this, just a single text document with an outline script. DW delivered the full creative process, from initial research and idea proposals to storyboards, animatics, wireframes, style-frames, proof of concept animations....through to the final video, ensuring the end result was precisely on point.

Middleweight 3d Motion Artist / Retoucher

We are looking for a talented, skilled and dedicated full-time Middleweight 3d Artist / Retoucher with a passion for creating high-end CGI animations and static imagery, but also with a solid understanding of post production and retouch to achieve top quality results.

The candidate must be enthusiastic, personable and keen to work with an established small team. They should be keen to keep progressing their own skills but also willing to share and help others in the team to grow.

DW Studio is all about attention to detail and high-end quality output coupled with effective communication at the heart of everything we deliver. We work directly with some of the biggest names in the business and our work has to satisfy these requirements.

Requirements:

Minimum 3+ years industry experience working within a high-end CGI/animation production team.
Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary environment.
Positive and professional attitude with the desire and ability to create high-end results direct from 3d.
Enthusiasm for all things design, technology and a love for new products and tech.
The ability to 3d model, texture, light and render high-end results.
Able to retouch CG artwork and animations to a high level
Submission of portfolio showcasing quality of your previously created CGI videos and stills.

We delivered this project for this time last year and we've finally got round to adding it to our website!

It's always amazing to look back at our work and remember how much work we put into our videos. We modelled Derby Station from scratch, re-modelled it to show the alterations, modelled all existing and new track layouts, integrated this into an accurate 3d city of Derby, designed and animated a completely bespoke user interface to communicate all the required information...and then just for fun, added a few hundred cars tree and animated people to give it that lovely subtle realism :)
