Wow! Barking Buds has been open 6 YEARS TODAY! When I first started the company it was just little old me fighting lockdown. Today I have an incredible team and we have grown! I am so proud with where we are at with Barking Buds and we have lots of exciting new things coming up in this coming year. I want to thank everyone who has supported me over these 6 years through the laughter, triumphs, tears, meltdowns and nervousness I really wouldn’t be where I am without you all! Now I have Daisy - Lee my passion for Barking Buds has grown even more and I can’t wait to show her what you can accomplish if you just keep swimming 🐠 Here’s to another 6 years and big projects ahead 😍

Week 29 of being your mummy! I really do feel like everything is starting to fall into place and I am getting the hang of this mum life! I know it will probably change but I feel like we are on the up! Counselling with Mind has been amazing and I feel like I have such a bigger bandwidth to take on the world now! My little baby girl! Your personality is really coming to shine now and you definitely know you are a princess 😂 I really can’t wait to see how you grow up and take on the world! But know I will always be by your side 💕 I also think we have some more teeth on their way so I am preparing for some not so grateful nights! Currently we have had 3 days of you in your cot for the night 🙌 not sleeping through but only two wake ups so I will take it 💕

Had a great time yesterday with at the Careers Fair talking to the students about all things dog training from where could they go to get qualified all the way to what we do and offer! I can’t believe that 6 years after graduating from this uni we are still coming back and working with individuals and talking about the dog training sector! Smashing event! Well Done on another brilliant day!

Weeks 27 and 28 being your mummy! And what another incredible who weeks it has been. The heat challenged us all and you now have TWO TEETH! We have tried lots of different puree and foods your favourite being strawberries or sweet potato which you inhale! We have also followed some advise from other mums trying puree prunes to help with you belly and so far “touch wood” 🪵 it has helped massively and I haven’t had to give you any medication 🙌 You definitely know what you want and when you want it and a massive FOMO baby but I love it as we can go anywhere and I don’t have to worry about you and strangers! Most of the time you take it in your stride, smile and have a chin wag 💕 Balancing work and you has been a struggle as well as “the mothers load” (those who watch a certain series on Netflix will get it!) but we are getting there, the business is running and I have the most amazing support from all angles. In the form of an incredible team at Barking Buds with whom I trust to run the day to day and family and friends who check in, have Daisy when I need to do events and generally keep my going. I couldn’t be more grateful for each and every one of you in my life! Update on the counselling - its going well like with all things to process it’s got to get worse before it gets better so I am just going with it and not trying to worry about it too much as I do feel like my brain is more sturdy (this is the only way I can explain it 😂). Overall a fun filled few weeks. Here’s to many more when we come up to the summer break 😍

26 weeks being your mummy and you are 6 MONTHS OLD! People don’t joke when they say time goes quickly! Last night you stayed in your cot all night! Broken sleep for all of us but you did it! Such a weird feeling not having you next to me. You are growing up to be the best cheeky, smiley, social little girl I always imagined we would have! I literally have no words for how much I love and adore you. I can’t believe you have been in my life for half a year already! It feels like I’ve never had a life without you 💕 I am so excited to watch you grow up and know that you are going to be a sassy one 🤩 You have brought so much light to so many people and we all love you 🥰

Celebrating the Baby Shower of my bestie Auntie Coco! you are going to be the best mummy ever! 24 and 25 Weeks of being your Mummy! Time is flying by so quickly! You have your FIRST TOOTH and you have started trying FOOD! A few weeks of firsts and I am here for it apart from the extreme screaming and clinging 😅 Counselling is also going well and I feel like we are starting to make some progress. Like she said it will get worse before it gets better! Anxiety is higher than usual but we now have the tools to help cope with it! Being your mummy Daisy-Lee is the greatest gift I could have ever asked for!

🐶Rally Club - A great club to help build your dog’s obedience training whilst having fun. You can also work towards competitions!

🐶Scent Club - Getting your dog using their brains in a calmer more structured way using their natural instincts to knackered them out whilst you are witnessing their amazing noses! You can also work towards you UK Sniffer Dog Awards!
