Weeks 39 and 40 being your Mummy! A few weeks full of adventures again with friends and family including we are curious, roves farm and Cotswold wildlife park (to name a few). A few milestones have happened these few weeks; Daisy-Lee is now 9 MONTHS OLD! How is she so close to being one already! People always say times goes quick and you just nod and say yes but IT GOES QUICK, take any and every opportunity to spend time with your baby as it really doesn’t last long! Second milestone is that I had my final counselling session with Mind and I really cannot rave about them enough! The councillor I had was absolutely incredible and has helped me process not just what has happened last year but many many years ago! If you need help please reach out to them, I couldn’t recommend enough! Our third milestone is that we are starting to get steps with the walker (not me Daisy) as she is really pushing to be able to be standing a lot of her time now. It has its positives and negatives, it will get her moving around sooner but currently is killing our back helping support her 😂 our fourth milestone is that Daisy has had both settling in sessions ready to start nursery next week. Did we cry definitely, did it feel weird not having her whilst we had a breakfast… hell yeah BUT she is such a social girlies I think she will benefit massively and if I am honest I am looking forward to a small breather! I say small as I will actually be working 10 hour days whilst she is at nursery. They really helped her settle in and we even got some photos though she did not look too impressed 😂 I’m sat here excited and apprehensive about what this next stage in our lives is going to bring! Will Daisy be okay at nursery? Will the other kids like her? Will she be too sassy? 😂 Will I enjoy being back at work? Am I going to feel overwhelmed with the workload? But none of these are realistic worries until we ah e actually started. So for now we are enjoying our final week together as a family until we all go back to daily life and routine! I could not be prouder being Daisy’s mum and I can’t wait to see where nursery takes her 😍

38 Weeks being your Mummy! We now have 4 teeth at the top and two at the bottom! Mummy was working at the beginning of the week so it was lots of fun times with Nanny and Bailey! Then Daisy Lee had her FIRST settling in session at nursery 😅😭 the staff were great with her but because she isn’t mobile yet and all the other children were she was by herself for moments which broke S and I hearts, overall though she did well. She had snack and she threw it on the floor 😂 and then had us support her whilst she walked around the room checking out all the sections. Only downside was that they had a glitter tray and we are still finding it on her today 😂 I really don’t know how I feel about this Nursery business 😩 I’m going to miss spending time with my little bestie so much BUT. I know it’s going to be really good for her socially so definitely a mix of emotions and I definitely did cry 😂 after that Daisy Lee went to Aunty Toph house so that mummy and daddy could start tackling painting the fence at Barking Buds Training Field! 1/8 done and there were 5 of us 😅 Now for the mission to find a good cordless spray painter as we don’t have 7 spare days to spend painting 🤦‍♀️ if anyone can recommend any good ones or anyone who may be willing to help a girl out and spray paint the fence for free I will love you forever 😂 This summer has been so jam packed and we are not finished yet! I need another break to get over this one! Work might actually slow us down a bit 🖐️

36 and 37 Weeks being your mummy and what a jam packed few weeks it has been! We will start with the underlying gremlin which has caused quite a few bad night sleep! TEETHING people warned us but it really does change everything you set up for your child! Night with one wake turn to every two hours, our smiley baby got grumpy very quick and we could not see life without Calpol 🤣😅 We now have four teeth at the top and two on the bottom which makes her look so much more grown up and I was not prepared! It also means no more fingers in the mouth as it hurts like a b**** 😂 Now to the fun stuff! Overall (touching wood) Daisy-Lee is a great baby she came along with me to do assessments for ADAA which of course she watched the dog closely. We went to rhyme time and the NCLB Party in the part with Aunty , we have been to the zoo with Nanny, Aunty and Uncle Toe, the Bristol Balloon Festival with Aunty Toe, Nanny and Daddy! We aren’t done yet! We also went to Daddy’s family gathering meeting 60 of the Hirons clan and we found out that my Great, Great Gran was also called Daisy 🌼 and I had my first ever Ikea Trip! To say we are all knackered is an understatement and the overtired trying to get her to sleep Daisy is a whole other ball game but totally worth it to see the wonderful in her eyes and the love for all of our friends and family 💕 We are absolutely loving having Daddy home for the summer and I love watching his and Daisy-Lee’s bond grow more and more each day. I’m and just so grateful for this life and to be able to watch my baby grow! ON A SAD NOTE: She goes to nursery in September 😅 I actually don’t know how I feel about this yet but know if going to miss being with her every day! She has a couple of settling in sessions this month so I will keep you all updated on how these go! Anyone else find all the funding stuff so complicated! Finally caught up! 35 Weeks being your mummy and you are now 8 MONTHS OLD! I cannot believe how fast time goes! We have had a week of sickness bug in the house so not many photos here. Daisy ended up in hospital with being a bit dehydrated (she is absolutely fine) then she decided to pass it to mummy and daddy who got struck down almost the same time so had to tag team looking after you! It finally seems like we are coming out of it 🙌

At 34 weeks we had just come back off the most lush holiday visiting friends in Spain 🇪🇸 feel so lucky to be able to take Daisy on her first trip away at such a young age! It was also so lush to see the Woolley Clan and of course my gorgeous god daughter who all put me to shame with their tans 🤣 Was a different holiday for us chilling around the pool but was exactly what we needed 😍

Today marks a whole year of loving and missing you dad! It really doesn’t seem real that it has been a year when it only seems like yesterday but an eternity all at the same time! I wish you could see how incredible Daisy is and I know how much she would have loved you! There have been a whole year of firsts but also a whole year of moment where I would normally call you which I couldn’t! Like putting up pictures in our house or asking what a light means in the car 😂 Some days are better than others but you are always with me and I hope you are watching down on us all and laughing at these new adventures! Today we walked up crickley hill and had good at Nando’s (dad’s favourite restaurant, I don’t know why) then we spent the evening chilling. A lovely day with no crying just remembering and spending time together 💕
