Have you heard the expression
"There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing"?
Back in January, when I booked tickets to see at Hampton Court Palace, I envisaged a balmy evening picnic on the grass, wearing a floaty dress and sunglasses.
Instead, we found ourselves wearing bright yellow plastic ponchos in the drizzle (swipe to see). Although my rainbow trainers matched the rainbow sky that welcomed our arrival 😄🌈
How often do you dress for the weather you'd like rather than the weather you've actually got. Sometimes, the right outfit isn't the most glamorous one - it's the one that lets you get on and enjoy yourself.
Although I can't say yellow plastic ponchos will be featuring in my style recommendations any time soon...
