Yesterday, Yoke Creative Agency joined the Parent-Infant Foundation team to film their BEAR/ARTH training event in Wales.

It was brilliant to see such a busy room, full of enthusiasm, interest and clear demand for BEAR/ARTH training across Wales and beyond.

It really brought home how relevant and needed this work is for babies, parents and practitioners.

We’re now working on a couple of exciting video projects for the Parent-Infant Foundation this year.

A big thank you to the Parent-Infant Foundation team for having us there, and to the rest of our fantastic Yoke team too!

We’ve recently shared our project for Elesco, a family-run timber flooring company based in York, known for beautifully made wood floors, expert finishing, and a real attention to detail.

Yoke worked with Elesco on a full rebrand, e-commerce website, and a suite of supporting photography and videography to help the business better reflect the quality of its product and service online.

The project included a refined visual identity, custom illustrations, premium sample packaging, and a website designed to feel more considered, more useful, and more aligned with Elesco’s position in the market. It was important that the site didn’t just look high-end, but also helped customers explore products, understand the finishing process, and make enquiries with confidence.

A great project to work on, and a strong example of how branding, content and website design can work together when every detail has a job to do.

Pilot Training Success 🐻

As Parent-Infant Foundation shared on LinkedIn, “the pilot of our BEARs (Building Early Attuned Relationships) training across Wales is complete.”

In late 2025, Dr Elizabeth Gregory and Dr Nicola Canale travelled to all seven regions in Wales and heard from 172 participants across health, education, social care and the third sector — with standout feedback: 99% would recommend the training to colleagues.

One attendee put it perfectly: “This training is so important… the messages need to be rolled out to anyone working with children in the first 1000 days.”

Yoke proud to share the animated BEAR explainer we made for the project, available in English and Welsh. If you work with families in Wales (or you simply care about giving babies the best possible start), please feel free to share.

Building Early Attuned Relationships 🧸

At the start of 2025, we joined the Parent-Infant Foundation on a truly special project, the launch of BEAR / ARTH (Building Early Attuned Relationships), a new pilot in Wales backed by The National Lottery Community Fund.

The programme focuses on the first 1,000 days of a child’s life, a vital window for building strong emotional connections and lifelong wellbeing.

We worked alongside the Foundation team and a parent steering group to help bring BEAR / ARTH to life through design, illustration and storytelling. From a hand-painted identity to a children’s book–style training guide, every detail was created to make the science of relationships feel human, warm and accessible.

How Y Maes Transformed the Heart of Criccieth into a Vibrant Food and Culture Destination

In May 2025, the doors of Y MAES opened in Criccieth — transforming a site once described in a BBC article as a “dilapidated eyesore” into a buzzing hub of food, drink, and culture.

It’s been a hugely successful first summer: families tucking into street food, day-trippers enjoying local beers and coffee, and live music filling the square. A place where community, culture, and great food now meet in the heart of town.

For us, being part of the journey working with Lloyd Edwards and the team to create the Y Maes brand has been a real privilege.
