When we think about starting something new, taking a new step in our business, or stepping into a new season… our brain loves to lead with the disaster options first.
What if I fail?
What if it flops?
But what if…
what if it didn’t?
What if it works?
What if this is the part you look back on like ohhh, it started there.
What if you’re not delulu, you’re early.
What if the idea is good because it won’t leave you alone.
What if you try and it all clicks in the most satisfying way?
What if you do it scared and it still works?
What if the missing piece this whole time was you beginning?
What if the risk pays you back in confidence, stories, momentum, a business?
What if nothing changes… or everything changes?
What if doing it anyway is the secret?
What if you’re one scrappy attempt away from your thing?
What if it works out embarrassingly well?
What if the plot twist is you succeeding?
What if this is the season you stop watching yourself and start backing yourself?
It’s smart to assess risk.
It’s smart to think it through.
But choosing not to move is a risk too.
Just quieter. Easier to miss.
Harder to turn into a story later.
And maybe that’s the point.
Not what if it fails…
but what if?
I don’t know…
but I have a feeling you do✨
