Zoom in for an important message! 🔍

As a small business owner, are you using social media platforms simply to share announcements about your business, your services and company updates? Then you're missing a trick!

Socials can still be a great way to engage and find potential clients, but not if you're sharing the wrong message. Instead of focusing on what you do, start focusing on how you fix their problems!

Show proof of how your business helps with testimonials, and post content that makes them feel seen and heard. Content that they can relate to and connect with on a real, HUMAN level.

The moment I stopped trying to write content for everyone and started writing for one specific person everything shifted.

Because when you know exactly who you're talking to content stops being something you force and starts being something that flows.

Your ideal client isn't looking for perfection.

They're looking for someone who makes them feel a little less alone in whatever they are carrying and you can’t give them that feeling when you're writing for everyone.

You can only give them that feeling when you're writing for one person.

Can we talk about comparison for a minute?

It’s so easy to scroll through your feed and compare yourself to someone else’s highlight reel.

But it’s not showing you the school run or the sickness bug that kept your child from going in on Tuesday.

It’s not showing you the meal you still have to cook, the permission slip you forgot to sign or the mental load you’ve been carrying since before you even opened your laptop this morning.

As women, we’re not just running businesses, we are holding entire lives together at the same time.

So when we compare ourselves to what we see online without accounting for any of that, we end up feeling like we’re behind.

Here’s what I want you to do instead.

1. Unfollow or mute anyone who consistently makes you feel behind.

That’s not inspiration and it won’t help you.

2. Redefine what consistency actually looks like for your life right now.

Two posts a week that sound genuinely like you will always outperform five posts a week written from a place of guilt and self-doubt.
