Not everyone has the budget for a social media manager, but that shouldn’t mean I can’t help you in some way.
If your socials are nonexistent or just a bit sh*te, do these this month 🫶🏽
• Take 30 new photos: 5 of you, 5 of your desk/work environment, 5 of the work you do for clients, 5 behind-the-scenes of running your business, 5 everyday moments, 5 close-up detail shots (screens, notes, coffee, treatment, product etc)
• Spend 15 minutes looking at August’s socials analytics, look at what posts reached people who don’t follow you yet
• Write down the 3 things you want your business to be known for (for me, it’s not “social media management”, but things like, someone who saves you time, looks for other business opportunities)
• Film 10 boring little clips while you work, voice notes, screen recording. you talking about what you did for a client
• Ask one happy client/customer for a review or a quote you can turn into a post
• Make sure your bio says what you really do
• Pretend you’re a new client landing on your profile, tap through every Highlight. Get rid of anything outdated, add anything missing (pricing, proof, personality)
• Start a running note of every question a client asks you…that’s next month’s content - this is gold!
• Put one content day on the calendar and protect it - do not just sack it off!!
• Show your face more than you did in August… you’re the authority figure, not the logo!
So who’s gonna give it a go? 🤔
