We're excited to announce the winner of our charity video content giveaway - congratulations to Doncaster Housing for Young People!

DoncasterDHYP provides support for young people at risk of homelessness: offering advice, supported accommodation, counselling, a weekly Wellbeing Hub, and so much more.

We’ll be jumping head first together into the research phase of pre-production to find what video (or videos) will have the most impact and help them the most.

Here are three of our favourite moments from a recent promotional shoot with Doncaster Athletics Club.

Using a combination of easyrig and a rickshaw we were able to capture high impact shots while moving quickly between setups, which was key when dealing with changing lighting conditions and limited time on location.

This was a challenging shoot both logistically and technically, from coordinating availability of the athletes and location availability to battling difficult weather, but the team pulled everything together perfectly and we created something that truly captures the energy, dedication and spirit of the club.

It's always satisfying to look back over recent work, whether that's creating a showreel or in this case a collage of some of our favourite shots.

We've been lucky enough to create videos for people from so many walks of life: artisans, artists, athletes, scientists, and all manner of businesses.

It's equal parts humbling and exciting, and we can't wait to see where it will take us next!

(Hopefully the Bahamas 🌴 ☀️ ⛱️)

To celebrate our rebranding to Odept, a Doncaster-based video production company, we're holding a giveaway to help promote a charity or social initiative in Doncaster or the surrounding areas.

We create meaningful, impactful content for businesses, charities, artists, and education. We've created videos for NHS construction projects, university research groups, promotional content for athletics clubs and weightlifting gyms, an online course for traditional book binding; stained glass artists, tattoo studios, and so much more!

If you're involved with a charity, or think there's a cause that deserves more attention, comment on this post and tag them.

The chosen cause will receive a professional video package to help raise awareness and shout about the work they do. Depending on what would have the most impact that could be anything from a mini-documentary to short-form content for TikTok.
