I could not fulfil the expectations of my job without seeking the friendship in every situation. We build long-term business relationships based upon not purely experience and capability, but additionally because we like the people we're doing business with.
As we begin our penultimate week of - I thought it would be remiss of me not to include a post, considering it's my name! This time beautifully coincides with the fact I will be in the UK to reunite with many friends, colleagues and clients.
How exciting! September is always a time of coordination, momentum-building and refreshed enthusiasm, and this September has held all of these traits, but in macro focus as we reconnect from our pandemic lives.
I look forward to using my nominative determinism to forge many new connections and positive interactions ahead!

Our world has taken some major shifts of late hasn't it? The carpet was pulled, shaken and hasn't quite settled back on our shared ground as yet. But in these strange times, of constant change, we think of how important our earth is to our existence.
It is "Earth Day" today and it reminds us all that peering outside of ourselves, at our wider communities and how they interlink and form a whole is more important than ever. Not only in our societies, cultures and economies, but our vital natural world too - we are one.
We are all vastly different, individual, yet so similar in our requirements for life and wellbeing, we are inclusive of both contrary and complimentary needs, but we are one.
Happy Earth Day. What can you do to make this a kinder, more sustainable place for us all to exist in harmony?

I have wondered since the start of this pandemic why hasn't become a much bigger deal, more widely embraced and enjoyed. The possibilities for entertainment with VR are endless.
In simple terms, I feel that no forerunner has emerged with an easy-to-adopt model, with a proper education piece in a far-reaching marketing campaign. What do you think?
From virtual parties with themes to clubbing with your mates in a digital nightclub, not to mention zooming on the highest roller coaster you could ever imagine, perhaps in an underwater world... I think there is more to come from this concept!

What was your first job and what did it teach you that you use in your working life now?
It’s important that I constantly perform analysis on behalf of my customers. Knowing the “whys, whats and whens” is vital for our future campaigning directions and decision making. So, at the moment I am looking at various design, attractions / entertainment, technology, food and drink, hospitality and interior design trends for the year ahead. It made me think about when I discovered that these things are decided by and designed by people… and collated way ahead of the years in which they are used by industry and designers the world over. You might think that public demand drives what we are sold, but in truth, it is a little more back-to-front than that....
My first “proper” job after working the Customer Services desk at Focus Do it All (remember them?!) was as a Book Binder! We used to receive a pack of all of the pantone colour trends and fold and paste them into little binders, to be distributed to all the printers and design houses.
Weirdly, I learnt a lot from working for internationally renowned brands like De La Rue, Pink Floyd and Mick Rock in that little job that I still use in my varied role today.
