There are just two weeks left to enter your business or nominate another for the Christchurch Awards! I'm busy working on client entries (and my own!) for the deadline on Monday 21st September. The awards are free to enter, and there are a wide range of categories available.

Working from home can be lonely. But I’m lucky to have my office companion by my side. Under my feet. Pretty much anywhere he can squeeze in, really 🐾

Like his dog brother before him, over the past 13 years of running 4 C Marketing my office dogs have been great company, excellent listeners and the perfect excuse to get away from the desk for some vital fresh air and exercise, as well as being much-loved family pets.

If you are struggling with working from home I would highly recommend a canine office companion. But if that’s not practical, try networking instead. There’s a good chance you’ll meet plenty of busines people just like you and find the support you need.

As I put the finishing touches to my presentation for the New Forest Business Partnership Awards Masterclass on 30th June, it seems fitting that I am also:

✍️ Drafting an article for the British Franchise Association magazine on how to celebrate franchise success with awards
🏆 Celebrating winning Marketing & PR Consultant of the Year 2026 (South West England) and the Client Satisfaction Excellence Award 2026 at the Acquisition International Magazine Influential Businesswoman Awards

My relationship with awards began back in 2004 when I was nominated and shortlisted for the Young Marketer of the Year in the Marketing Society Awards. Now, over 20 years later, awards have become one of my favourite parts of my business. It's a privilege to help businesses celebrate their success and pause to reflect on everything they have achieved.
