Finding like-minded people is important, and unsurprisingly the number of business owners looking for real connection and in-person meet ups has increased significantly in the last 12 months.

Connect & Thrive is a unique blend of business coaching, mentoring, networking, learning, sharing and genuine connection with a small group (max. 10) of business owners (think sole traders or those with teams of 5 and under). The programme is developed and facilitated by Jen Cadger and runs one day a quarter for a whole year.

Here’s the latest round up of what we’ve been up to!

There’s been some great wins - we’ve extended our retained relationship with a current client and onboarded a new 1-1 coaching client 🌟Jen had a lovely email after their first coaching session “Have actually felt so inspired after it that I have sat at the kitchen table since and continued working away" which made our day! ☺️

But there’s been some wobbles too - we’ve joined new networking groups which can be daunting, even when you enjoy meeting new people. We finished up a wonderful year long coaching relationship with Marie Hart - Popoki HR, a bittersweet moment, but we know where she is for future support! We’ve also had to prioritise and move some items off the to-do list for the moment because there just aren’t enough hours in the day ⏰

However, there are lots of exciting things ahead! The Connect & Thrive group is going well, so we’ve decided to launch a second cohort, starting in June. We’re getting ready to launch the marketing quiz and we’ve got a number of (free) resources to share with you! 📨

❓ Did you know the average B2B customer journey has over 60 touchpoints?

That was one of the standout insights Jen brought back from the recent CIM - The Chartered Institute of Marketing networking event in Edinburgh 🌟

Jen joined fellow marketers to hear from Craig Edwardson of Edwardson Digital, who presented on lead generation in the B2B space. As most of Belter Marketing's clients operate in B2B markets, it was a useful reminder that whilst lead times and pipelines can be long, the duration of the journey is actually an opportunity! More touchpoints means more chances to build genuine relationships and show up consistently for your customers.
