A recent study conducted on behalf of the Internet Advertising Bureau has revealed that the time people spend on sites such as Facebook, Reddit and Twitter accounts for 17% of the internet usage in the UK. UKOM, a company focussing on online audience measurement, conducted the research using 73,000 people and information from online services. The research has revealed that the use of social media has surpassed entertainment as the favourite activity online for residents of the UK. [ 210 more words. ]
