A rebrand ten years in the making, for the wonderful Wedding | Elopements | Lifestyle - Photographer

Laura came to me marking a decade in business, ready to claim a new name and visual identity. One that not only represents her, but also attracts the clients she’s been dreaming of working with.

We kept a few floral elements from her old logo, then built everything else around her business location: the North Devon coast, where hedgerows meet the shoreline. That gave us a set of supporting marks rooted in her surroundings and feeling unmistakably Laura.

The result is elegant and timeless, a brand identity she feels confident and excited to share.

Laura, I loved watching this brand come together with you. Here’s to the next ten years 🧡

Your brand is more than just a logo.

It’s more than just the visuals, colours, fonts or a website.

It’s how your business feels, its presence, and what it’s recognised for.

It’s how you show up, what you sound like, and your differentiators.

Crafting you brand identity touches on so much more than a logo, it’s about understanding you and your business at its core, unearthing its soul and shaping that into a visual representation.

That’s what I did here with The Fabled Designs, a concept project pulling together the worlds of literature and love.

Lots of gorgeous projects happening behind the scenes at Studio Aretta currently which I’m excited to share with you soon.

This is a concept project pulled from my prior exploration into the world of wedding stationery, something I very much enjoyed.

The Fabled Designs, a place where the love of stories is brought into wedding stationery, making each piece an item worth holding keeping.

If getting bookings is your jam then please for the love of Mary drop the ‘submit your email for our price guide’ malarkey.

Couples do not want to jump through hoops simply to know the price. In fact, the majority of them will simply walk past the hoop - just think of how many lost opportunities that is!

Getting them on your email list doesn’t help you if they’ve already received the information upfront from another supplier and booked with them, whilst you’re patiently waiting for someone to fill in a form.

The answer? Put your prices on your website, clear, accurate and in a place where they can be found easily!

Friction causes couples to leave, don’t be that guy.

We've all been there, fallen in love with someone's Instagram only to head over to their website and get whiplash over how different the two are.

It may not seem important, it may not seem like it would have an impact on the amount of enquiries that appear in your inbox - but I assure you, a misaligned website is hurting your business more than it's helping.

YOUR TASKS:

🧡 review your social media channels -

Feeling like you need to be everywhere? STOP! Don't let the peer pressure get to you, audit which channels are actually bringing in enquiries and cull the rest.

🧡 check for alignnent across your channels -

Does your website look like it was made in 2016 and never touched since? Is your Instagram popping and looking fantastic? You need to make things consistent across the two. Take some time to update testimonials, images and anything else that is causing your website to look ancient.
