Here's another shot from the incredible morning I had up at Haytor back in September. I still can't get over how beautiful it was!

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get out with the camera for a few weeks due to work commitments, but hopefully that will change soon!

I went back down to Bigbury-on-Sea for another sunset and this time walked a little bit further along the coast to Wyscombe Beach. This is quickly becoming my favourite place to walk as it feels like every mile or so you walk offers another amazing vista!

Whenever I'm shooting sunrises or sunsets (like this one) at the oceans edge the tide always seems to coming in, which means wet feet everytime! Maybe I should get some waders 😉

Here's a shot from a trip I took the other week to Bigbury-on-Sea. I love using the NiSi ND filters to get that slow shutter look, but currently, I only have the 10 stop and when there's only a 'late-sunset' amount of light this can be too much. Think I'm going to need to get a 3 and/or 6 stop filter to add to the kit 😉
-
Do you find yourself using the same ND filter or are you mixing it up?

Every time I plan to get up for a sunrise I ask my partner if she wants to join me...The answer is (nearly) always no! However, she recently got into paddleboarding and throughout the summer was actually getting up with me and going out on the sea whilst I go and take photos :)
-
I didn't actually have much luck for what I had planned this morning and basically gave up. However, as I was walking back to the car I saw a familiar silhouette heading towards me. So I chucked on the zoom lens and took this shot.
-
I enjoy looking for compostions and really taking time to set up a shot, but I do love when you manage to capture a fleeting moment without giving it too much thought :)

This is another shipwreck in the River Exe, just down from the last one I posted. The sun was rising fast and I was struggling to find a composition as it's completely flat and very boggy! So moving around isn't the easiest!
-
I got right down next to this Oyster Shell to make it look a lot bigger than it was. (Check out my story to see a BTS 😉)
-
It was an interesting place to shoot, but I can't say I'll be rushing back there! 😂

I haven't been out with my drone in a little while, but I stumbled upon this photo the other day and thought I would post it. This was taken in Winter last year during some pretty much perfect conditions for drone flying.
-
Maybe I should get it back up in the air!

I got to South Milton Sands far too late for this sunset so it was a mad panic to find a composition. I settled with this, but to be honest, I wasn't feeling it that much...until this little dog came and sat bang in the middle of the scene and just stared at me! haha! 😂
-
The dog absolutely makes this shot for me. What do you think? Should I have photoshopped him out? 😉

I took a trip down to Bigbury-on-Sea last week and walked round to Ayrmer Cove. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to go any further but I will definitely be coming back here soon to explore more of this amazing coastline!
-
It felt a bit weird to put a barbed wire fence into such a beautiful scene but I really liked the leading lines it was creating. What do you think?

Here’s another one from the incredible morning I spent up on Haytor earlier in the week. This is when the sun breached the fog and lit up the landscape 🔥
-
I don’t know who the person is sat on top of the Tor, but if you see this, thanks for the great pose 😉
-
Have you ever seen Dartmoor like this?

Here’s another shot from my trip to Dewerstone Wood. I really pushed the focal range with this shot and basically had to lie on the floor to take it!
-
I’m not sure if this is ‘The Dewerstone’ or not but it was pretty impressive all the same! If anyone can confirm whether it is though, let me know 😉

Yesterday morning I headed up to Haytor as the forecast showed fog then sun, which if things go well can lead to magic but any photographer will tell you that this is quite often not the case! However, luckily for me, this time it did go well and I got to witness the most spectacular sunrise I've ever seen!
-
I spent quite a bit of time not actually taking shots and just froze in awe of it! It was a special morning and I won't be forgetting it anytime soon. It was great to meet up there too 👍
-
Just to warn you now...this will not be the only shot I post from that morning! 😂
