I gave myself some time on the The Pier Falmouth this week, thinking about what my business would look like if it were ten times bigger. Not scaled by 10x but ambition and depth.

I won’t share, as I’m too private and it’s just the start, but not gonna lie, I’m very excited, and nervous.

Today’s comes from the wonderful INDIDOG Harbourside Restaurant Falmouth.

A couple of times a week I go analogue. No screens, just a notepad and somewhere to gaze. It’s rarely my best thinking but it’s where I empty my head enough to see the connections I’d missed. The ones I couldn’t spot because I was too close.

This is also one of those ‘well done me’ moments, ‘cos it turns out not many jobs let you call this work.

Even less jobs, when you swipe to see how it’s going 🤣

What I was going to say was that I haven’t been on here for a while because social media makes me feel worse.
But that was a lie. I’ve been on here loads. And it makes me mad at myself, because I know it makes me feel worse and sometimes I still can’t stop scrolling.

All the morning routines that’d swallow my whole day if I copied them. The posts from the lovely businesses I follow, buried under the shouty ones about six-figure months.

Then occasionally a friend’s post sneaks through, in between all the ads. And I remember what I’m actually here for. xx
