It is with great sadness that my trip to Big Church Festival was cut short following an accident in which a man sadly lost his life. 💔
This has been such a raw and emotional experience for myself, my friends, and everyone who was at the festival. My prayers are with every single person who has been affected — those who were injured, their families and friends, the BCF team, the witnesses, everyone who was there, and, most importantly, the family and loved ones of the man who lost his life.
May he rest in eternity with the Lord our God. 🤍
I will still be taking the rest of my holiday until Thursday. I need some time to rest, spend time with God, and process everything that has happened. 🙏🏽
I bought this jumper at the festival which says, “Is this what heaven sounds like?” And after everything that happened, that question has stayed with me.
Before, during and after the incident, all I saw was people coming together and worshipping Jesus. Lifting their eyes, their hearts and their voices to Him. 🤍
We may never know why this happened, but what we do know is:
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1
