Why use video? Simple - it works. Whether you are trying to communicate complex ideas, challenge perceptions, or articulate a brand personality, video allows companies to achieve goals that words and images simply cannot.

This was a fun wee project for Atom. Creative Director Tom McCrorie provided the graphics and the storyboard, we were tasked with bringing it to life. The purpose of the video was to inject a bit of personality into the subject matter, in a way competitors had never accomplished. The client now has an engaging video that has been used both online and at industry events.

We got a Facebook message at stupid o'clock on a Sunday night. A friend of the company, had an idea and couldn't wait till the morning. He wanted to improve the representation of people with disabilities in Scottish politics and civil Scotland. He wanted our help, and we were delighted to offer it.

In the four short weeks that followed, with the support of XY&Z, Jamie has established campaign. In that time, he secured hundreds of endorsements, including, quite remarkably, the cross party support of all 6 major parties in Scotland, and has embarked on a nationwide tour of branch meetings where he describes the challenges, and articulates the importance of including disabled people in the political process.

This isn't so much of a client, as it is a subject we care about. To us, it isn't just a disability issue, it is a democratic issue and a human rights issue.

XY&Z thrive when a client needs a range of creative assets, delivered consistently across identity, print, web and audio-visual. MLM Solutions, a UK wide financial services company, commissioned us to deliver just that.

The result is a new, modern identity for an ambitious new initiative, creating shared learning opportunities for businesses in complimentary sectors and encourage a partnership approach to solving complex client requirements.

During the first week of the recruitment phase, MLM have generated over 50 new leads from potential partners across Scotland. As the events roll out across the UK, XY&Z will also provide online CPD courses and supporting video content to ensure maximum access and develop mutually beneficial partnerships.

Some more video work to kick off a second week of highlighting the breadth of XY&Z's creative, this time moving away from animation to live action.

We were asked to provide video support for The Data Lab launch. This ambitious venture seeks to marry up the combined skills and capacities of government, academia and corporate enterprises. As a result, the event attracted a wide range of guests and speakers, including a keynote speech of endorsement from John Swinney MSP, Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Finance, Constitution and Economy.

This was a two camera solution with speeches being supported by a series of voxpop interviews from leading experts in the burgeoning data industry.
