I've been running Google Ads for 16 years, but there's a flaw every business owner should understand, because knowing it could ramp up your revenue.
It's Gordon, the Co-Founder of ClickBoost here. 👋
If you do Google Ads, you're doing well to get a 10% click-through rate.
So when 100 people search a high-intent keyword, maybe 10 click your ad.
The other 90? Probably off to a competitor.
Most people assume those 90 are gone.
They're not.
Think about your competitor's website.
If their conversion rate is 5%, they're having a good day.
That means the vast majority of people who land there leave without buying.
They got distracted, or they're still weighing up the decision.
That's your opening.
You've probably heard people swear Facebook is listening to their conversations because they see ads for things they've just talked about.
I don't think it is, but who knows?
But it doesn't need to.
Meta holds tens of thousands of data points on each of us, including browsing behaviour, and it uses them to work out who's actively in the market for something.
Which means the next time one of those 90 people is scrolling Instagram, your ad can be sitting there waiting for them.
People who were searching for exactly what you sell, who never clicked your Google ad, and possibly never even saw it.
Your search campaign captures the 10%.
A well-built Meta campaign quietly works on the other 90.
You can also use Meta Ads to create demand for a product, but that's a topic for another day.
Give it a go.

P.S. If you've been thinking about working with a digital ads agency recently, that's not a coincidence.
