People ask what I actually look at when I check a business online, so here is the whole list. No mystery, no jargon.
Does the Google profile have the right hours, the right category, and photos from this year? Have the last few reviews been answered? Does the website load in under three seconds on mobile data? Does it say plainly what the business does, where, and how to start? Do the name, address and phone number match everywhere they appear? Where does the business currently sit in the map pack for its main service? And can an AI assistant describe the business correctly when asked?
That is it. Seven checks, about twenty minutes. Most businesses pass three or four. The gap between four and seven is usually worth more than any advertising budget they were considering.
This is the free local visibility audit Bigview Digital runs for UK small businesses, from the AI-first studio in Hayes, West London.
