You'll spend your days creating content for hotels and resorts in fabulous American destinations, all while being based in the lovely seaside town of Sidmouth in Devon (UK). We're looking for an all-round superstar, with the role encompassing copywriting, account management, social media posting, community management, and all aspects of social media marketing.

Our top 5 social media trends and predictions for 2022:

📹 SHORT FORM VIDEO IS HERE TO STAY
Videos get more engagement than any other format, producing 10x more likes, comments, shares, and link clicks. And it's not just on Facebook and Instagram; Pinterest reported a 240% increase YoY of organic pins from 2020 to 2021.

❤ PROMOTING SELF-CARE
Wellness and self-care will continue to be a huge trend, so hotels should continue to push wellness programs. Instagram are also testing a 'Take a Break' feature to help limit the time young people spend on the app.

💸 SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS AS CURRENCY (Yes, Really)
Brands are trialling allowing customers to "pay" by posting on social media, which could be a fun alternative to a giveaway. E.g. share a post and enjoy a free drink.

🚫 THE "NO FILTER" FEED
Many brands and creators are switching to more authentic-looking, less filtered Instagram grids, favoring more 'in-the-moment' content. However, you should still be mindful that any content you post is on-brand!

📈 RISE IN SOCIAL AD SPEND
According to Hootsuite, more than half of brands are planning to increase their social ad spend in 2022, despite tightening budgets elsewhere. But with consumers becoming more ad-weary, ads need to be more creative and mirror the experience offered by each social network.
