Have you ever realised you were the only one keeping the friendship alive?

Trigger Warning: This video discusses child abuse, trauma, su***de, and bereavement.

One question many people ask after someone takes their own life is… “Why?”

In this video, I read the heartbreaking reasons left behind, not to shock people, but to bring awareness to the silent pain so many carry every day. No one should suffer in silence or feel so alone that they believe death is their only escape.

It should never take a life lost for people to feel heard, believed, or protected.

Please share this video in support of all those we have lost, those living with trauma in silence, and those currently struggling to keep going.

WHEN SOMEONE IS IN CRISIS, THEY NEED SUPPORT NOT A PILE-ON..
Behind every parent is still a person.
Someone’s child. Someone’s baby. Someone still carrying their own pain, trauma, or unmet needs.
We expect parents to raise children but many are still healing from how they were raised themselves.
Every adult was once a child too.
And some are still trying to heal while raising the next generation.
Compassion matters.
Because behind every “parent” is a human being, not just a title.

Sometimes life knocks us down so hard that even getting up feels impossible.

This is a reminder that survival doesn’t always look strong.
Sometimes survival is simply making it through the day…
Sometimes it’s resting…
Sometimes it’s choosing, despite everything, not to give up.

For anyone silently battling depression, trauma, grief, or suicidal thoughts:
Your struggle may not always be visible, but that does not make it any less real.

Healing does not always begin with huge steps.
Sometimes it starts with one thought:
“Get up.”
One breath.
One choice.
One moment of believing that this is not where your story ends.

To the person reading this who feels exhausted, broken, or unseen:
You are still here.
And that matters.

Mind Over Matter is for every person fighting battles others cannot see.
A reminder that even in the darkest moments, strength can still exist.
Not always loudly…
But quietly, in the decision to keep going.

Get up.
Not because it’s easy.
But because your life is worth fighting for.

To those who were left, moved, or made to feel disposable,
Being left can echo for years, but it doesn’t define your worth or your future.
There are people who will treat you with consistency and respect.
You’re still here—and that matters.
