So, I didn’t tell you this last year..

But I was accepting Business Woman of the Year 2025 in the same room as a business owner that ghosted me when I enquired about a job the previous year. THAT felt like the definition of a full circle moment 💅

I finally wanted to let you guys in on this because I know that at least one of you will be scrolling through the feed, with Monday blues looming because it’s “back to reality” in the morning. If you’ve been applying for dream roles/roles in the industry you’re dying to work in and feeling like the opportunity isn’t presenting itself.. please take this message as motivation, you really can do it but sometimes it takes a bigger leap and sprinkle of delusion to simply create the opportunity for yourself 🫶🏼

Anywho.. the evening is next weekend 💃💃 I bought my dress this morning, here’s hoping she fits because we don’t have another option eheheheh!

Maybe I was a little ashamed?

But I have no idea why, all I can put it down to is 2 things:
• feeling like I was failing
• people thinking I was failing

Neither of which are true, but there was still this overwhelming sense of feeling that i needed to hide this decision from the digital world. Why do we feel like this when it’s actually a decision that benefits our nervous system and provides additional stability in an uncertain world.

I hope this reel has helped you in some way - whether you’re in the same position, thinking of making the same decision or maybe you’ve already been on this journey and it resonates.

Whatever the case is, just know that we all see you and nobody is judging you for making necessary decisions 🫶🏼

I really want to start giving you guys more insight into how the days look - not only as a social media manager but also as a typical businesswoman guessing her way through, because I think I speak for a lot of us when I say we’re guessing a lot of this 😂

Days at Pink Spider Media over the last few weeks have been a lot fuller, which was actually a goal of mine from a visibility and connections standpoint.

But when I say this could’ve been a 10min vlog.. it’s no joke 😂 there are still parts that I decided to cut for the sake of your viewing sanity and some side quests that didn’t need to be filmed. So, here’s a chopped down, no trending audio and 1.2x version!

Sooooo I’ve been nominated for 2 awards and I couldn’t be happier! 😭🩷🕷️

Last year I managed to take home the title of Business Woman of the Year 2025 after just 8 months in business, now I’m almost 2yrs in - I’m taking on staff, expanding services, my client diary has never been fuller and I’m up for 2 more awards! I’ve worked my t**h off for this but my work would be nothing without the support of my community, my family and the clients that trust me with their voice online.

have done it againnnnn, you guys know how important my nails are to me + Glowy Nails never miss 🎯 I send an inspo pic + walk out feeling like a Pinterest Pin.

Anyone looking for their last spooky set (or you just want to feel likes Pinterest pin too) I can’t recommend Glowy Nails in Goole enough. I travelled 40mins from Leeds because I knew they’d nail this set - pun intended 👀
