The rules on AI content just changed.

As of August 2nd 2026, driven by the new EU AI Act, the big AI providers have started embedding invisible watermarks into everything their tools produce or alter. This applies to text, images, and files that come from Claude, Google, Meta, Microsoft and OpenAI alike.

Here's the part that matters: these watermarks travel. Copy AI text into your website and the mark can come with it. But all it proves is that content is AI-produced or AI-amended. It says nothing about whether that content is any good.

Which means the fundamentals still win. Real expertise, clear structure and honest disclosure are what set your content apart, for your readers and for Google.

Use AI well, be straightforward about it, and keep your quality high. That's the whole game now.

Deejah Resorts & Swimwear came to us to take a luxury swimwear brand from build to launch to growth.

Our team developed a bespoke Shopify website, launched it, and moved straight into paid social and social media campaigns to keep up the momentum.
