Motivation is a lie. 👇

If the world worked whenever they “felt like it”, everything would crumble.

Your favourite stores would go bankrupt.

Transport would go out of whack.

The streets would be filled with crime.

Everything would go to 💩 .

Motivation is a lie sold to the masses to keep them weak.

And it is KILLING your chances of ever becoming successful and living the life of your dreams.

Here’s the solution to “not feeling like working”?

Tell yourself:

“This is what I’ve got to do. I will dedicate X amount of time to doing it.”

Mark it on your calendar.

And then just do the work.

Break it into smaller parts if you need to, and just show up day in, day out.

If you show up consistently and do the work.

You will outshine the competition and you’ll see your “motivation” vanish.

Discipline beats “motivation” every time.

Time to craft compelling stories and get your audience invested into your brand.

The 3 elements of an HSO are:

1️⃣ Hook

– Use a killer opening line, fascinating fact or a catchy quote to hook your audience in from the get-go.
– Bonus: An even better way to entice and intrigue them is to put a sentence from the height of the drama (climax) of your story.
– (More about this in a future post! ☝️)

2️⃣ Story

– The story is the heart of your HSO.
– Make it relatable and engaging.
– Remember - you’re crafting COMPELLING stories, not average ones.
– Make sure it connects with your audience emotionally.
– Want to spice it up even further?
– Use sensory information and vivid imagery (stay tuned for a future post on this!)

3️⃣ Offer

– Finally, guide your readers on what you want them to do next.
– Or, use a clear CTA.
– Like “Get your hands on a new ebook you’re launching.
– Bonus: Use scarcity and urgency tactics to position your product as superior and valuable.
