There’s a big difference between someone who teaches business with their coaching programme is their FIRST business. They can use book smarts and logic… but someone who has actually had to build one in the middle of real life, we hit differently 🩷

It looks like school runs, snack requests, last minute life admin… and in my world, it’s also navigating life with two little girls, one of whom has complex health needs. There have been seasons where business had to bend, slow down, or completely reshape around what my family needed. That’s the true reality. Nothing in life is linear and that includes business! 💭

And that’s exactly why I coach the way I do.

This idea that you have to be a “supermum founder” is quietly burning so many brilliant women out.

Running a business and raising a family was never supposed to look like doing everything, all at once, perfectly.

I get asked this question constantly.

“How do you balance business and children?”

And every time I hear it, I think the same thing. My husband runs his own business too and nobody has ever asked him that. Not once.

Somehow mums are still expected to carry everything. Build the business, raise the children, run the house, remember the school things, keep life moving. And then explain how we manage it all.

The truth is I didn’t build my businesses in a way that relies on me being everywhere all the time.

I’ve built them to run with systems. With automation. With support. With people and processes that keep things moving whether I’m at my laptop or at the school gates.

Because the goal was never to be busy. The goal was to build businesses that work even when I’m not.
