It was great to get out for a sunrise again this morning — the first one since before the summer! 🌅

Thankfully, the sun is now rising at a much more reasonable time, so there’s no need for those ridiculously early starts. 😄

I headed down to Cromer with a few friends from (Norwich & District Photographic Society) and we were rewarded with some beautiful light over the pier.

A couple of images from the phone this morning — not the camera, but I think they’ve captured the atmosphere pretty well. I’ll share some from the camera over the next few days

Always good to be back on the coast at sunrise.

We’re out at the Holt Sunday Market on the 4th! 🎪

While our day-to-day business is all about fine art printing, scanning, and framing for the incredible local artists and photographers that we love supporting, a few times a year (on the first Sunday of the month) we get to set up our own stall.

It gives us a chance to showcase and sell images from Steve’s own photography collection. Because we produce, print, and frame everything ourselves in-house, we’re able to offer these pieces at amazing prices. We have some framed A4 images that start at only £10... All our prints are on high quality papers from Permajet Portrait Rag or Oyster, giving amazing details.

I was fortunate enough to catch the Red Arrows flying over Cromer recently! ✈️💨

It was actually my first time photographing aircraft—definitely a whole new challenge compared to my usual subjects, but I think the shot came out pretty well!

A client loved the image and asked if we could print it "as big as possible." We just produced a 50cm x 70cm fine art print, and I have to say, seeing the detail and vibrant contrast at that scale looks absolutely stunning in person.

Cromer Carnival has a special place in our hearts, even though we live in Norfolk Cromer is always special!
For the past four or five years, we’ve been incredibly fortunate to showcase our fine art printing at this fantastic event.
For us the absolute highlight?
Seeing so many wonderful former customers pop by the stall just to say 'Hello' and catch up. Your ongoing support means the world to us! ❤
This year, I decided to step out from behind the counter for a moment with my camera. The mission? Capture the spectacular Red Arrows!
As someone who usually focuses on fine art printing and static subjects, photographing high-speed aircraft was a massive learning curve. It is a completely different world of timing and settings! High-speed jets move a lot faster than the landscapes we usually print! We are currently reviewing the shots and think a few of them might look incredible as limited-edition fine art prints, here are just a few..

It was a real privilege to collaborate with local artist Kate on this striking piece, created for an upcoming exhibition in Birmingham ❤️

Kate’s portrait is painted in egg tempera — one of the oldest and most disciplined techniques in art history. Known for its precision, luminosity, and delicate layering, it’s a method that predates oil painting and demands real craftsmanship.

Painted on 20mm plywood, the artwork itself has real presence and weight — so strength in the framing was key.

To complement the piece, we designed a bold, bright blue tray frame with a floating mount. The aim was simple: give the artwork space to breathe while making the colours sing. The result is a clean, contemporary finish that really lets the portrait take centre stage.

We also incorporated rebated corners to add strength and rigidity to the structure — ensuring the frame not only looks sharp but is built to last.

Always great to work on something a little different — and even better when it’s heading out to be seen and appreciated.
