This year, International Women’s Day is themed around Embracing Equity.

Recent research has predicted that it may take close to 300 years to achieve full gender equality if progress doesn’t increase.

So what can we do to help speed the process up? 💭

We’ve included a few ideas in this carousel depending on the current stage of your career (we’d love for you to drop any more ideas in the comments too!)

However, women should not be solely responsible for this change ❌

Using IWD to work together to stimulate change is how we’ll achieve it more quickly and Girls in Marketing works towards this change every day.

We’re so happy to invite you to join us for International Women’s Week to celebrate all the amazing women in the marketing industry.

We’re hosting 5 events across the week:
👩‍💻 2 virtual webinars with the GiM team
💻 1 virtual webinar with a wonderful guest speaker
📣 1 panel event with 5 incredible panellists
💬 1 Girls in Marketing members event

The aim of this series is to bring women together and to bring attention to gender inequality in marketing.

Olivia started Girls in Marketing back in 2019 because she wanted to empower more women in the marketing world and make some friends while doing it.

Nearly 3 years later and she’s leading our wonderful team of 5 💁‍♀️
