Good Morning Monday! The sun is shining and it looks like it is going to be a beautiful day☀️

I thought I’d start this week out with a little reminder that social media for brands & businesses is nothing without a plan! The struggle is real these days with social growth, especially with Instagram changing the algorithm constantly. If you feel like you are struggling but haven’t made a plan, here are just a few questions you should think about:

1. Have you defined your customer?
2. Are you being consistent with your posting?
3. Is your content authentic and represent what you want?
4. Are you asking questions?

Does anyone else feel like this week dragged on? I kept thinking it was one day ahead of what day it really was!
I’ve been creating a client profile this week and looking back on old companies I worked with for inspiration. I took this photo while working with a jewelry company that was big part of my social media and marketing career so far. Little did I know that fast forward a few years and I would be starting a new business of my own to do the same thing!

Let’s talk about why social media is great for businesses for a minute! ✨

Obviously your business can survive without social media.. there are lots of companies and brands out there who have Instagram accounts but only post once, maybe twice a week and it works for them..
But ask yourself - do you want to post to have your brand just get by? Or do you want to post to make your brand THRIVE? ✨

Here’s just a handful of reasons how social media can help your business:
1. Increase brand awareness
2. Humanize your brand
3. Improve brand loyalty
4. Stay on top of user’s minds
5. Increase in website traffic and boost sales
