Here’s a simple explanation on why you should do weight training especially if you want to lose fats.

The stronger you get, the more muscles you build.

The more muscles you build, the more calories you burn.

The more calories you burn, the easier it is for you to be in a caloric deficit.

Caloric deficit = weight loss.

Weight loss = fat loss (mostly) when you do weight training and get enough protein

Therefore, always prioritize weight training

A lil physique (and life) update…

PHYSIQUE UPDATE:

I’m not in my best shape and I lost a lot of strength.

A lot of this is due to the lack of sleep I’ve been getting for the past 4-5 months.

Lately I’ve been making some changes in my routine and prioritize my sleep.

I will get back to my best shape (and even more) in a couple months 💪🏻

LIFE UPDATE:

Since I moved to the UK last month, my schedule has been PACKED with readings, classes and projects for my Masters. On top of that, I’m taking an additional course to level up my skills.

Therefore I haven’t been posting a lot of fitness content lately. I had to shift my focus to something else for the time being.

But don’t worry…

I will still be posting fitness content from time to time because helping people in their fitness is still my passion and I’m not willing to let that go.

If you read up to this point, I hope you’re doing well and I believe great things are ahead.

Keep working hard in achieving your goals and don’t forget to have fun!

If you just started your fitness journey and having a tough time, DON’T GIVE UP

If you plan to start but are scared to take that first step, DO IT

If you feel down lately and have gone completely off track, DON’T WORRY, you can get back on track.

Starting your fitness journey is going to be hard. But after a while, it’ll get better and you’ll start to enjoy the process.

Sticking to my fitness lifestyle was way harder when I first started than it is now.

So if you feel like quitting, I understand what you feel. Take it day by day.

💯Tell yourself it’s going to get better.

Fitness is just like anything else in life. If you want to be successful in any areas of life, you need to push through that starting phase, the most toughest phase 💪🏻

If you don’t do this, you will likely be stuck and not make progress

A lot of people make the same mistake of not changing their nutritional goals and workout routine when needed.

If you want to continuously progress and build muscles, you NEED to track your data and make changes WHEN you start hitting plateau.

If you go to a gym long enough, you will notice about 10% of the people progress well every year while the remaining 90% are still stuck at the same place with no progress.

Which one do you prefer?

A) Working your ass off and not seeing progress (or very minimal progress)

OR

B) Working hard and seeing major progress and gains

A lot of people quit fitness because they’re in group A

No wonder why they quit. Imagine putting in effort but not seeing results.

Heck, I would quit a long time ago too if that happened to me.

I see a lot of people sabotaging themselves by going into their fitness journey without a proper plan / guidance.

Thus, not seeing results. Which then makes them hate fitness and never be able to reach their maximum potential.

Many people think you need a gym membership to build muscles and lose fat. That’s incorrect ❌

You can definitely pack on a lot of muscles doing bodyweight exercises.

These are my favorite exercises to hit every muscle groups. Try this out!

Keep it mind one important thing. INTENSITY 🔥

Make sure you still workout with high intensity.

Push yourself to the limit for each set. Always try to improve/do more than your previous workouts 💯

🚨 CLIENT TRANSFORMATION 🚨

Naqi have been going to the gym for a few years. He started off already having muscles, but haven’t been seeing progress for a few months.

He wants to build more muscles and get stronger. Ultimately, Naqi wants to be bigger.

After three months under my coaching, he gained a lot of strength and muscles.

This is how bulking should be done. Maximize muscle gain and minimize fat gain.
