Kendra wanted to bring the luxurious designs from Ghanaian fashion designers to be showcased to the world in a one-stop marketplace.

She identified that there is so much talent from her home country, yet there are bigger brands who mimic African inspired clothing but the original designers don’t benefit from their work.

She decided to do something about this and provide a platform where designers can showcase their designs and customers can place their orders and their items are custom made for them.

We created the marketing plan, brand identity and website development and advised her on the best way to make her idea come to life from a customer centric view.

Her vision is innovative and provides great purpose. One in which aligns with our mission and it was a pleasure to work on her idea.

We appreciate her feedback and look forward to develop the brand even further.

Brands who dominate the market have the upper hand during this time. Depending on your offering, it might be worth focusing on quality and developing a solid brand image rather than trying to compete on price at every corner.

Working with institutions such as in their ED&I department to build a forward thinking and inclusive strategy is just the beginning.

It was amazing to be able to work with the team at UEL and contributing to make a difference for the way the department offers support and internal changes to build a better institution.

You work really hard to acquire knowledge and to develop your business. It's almost insulting if you are asked to work for free at this point.

I've been there, you are building your brand, you want to showcase your abilities, you haven't had the business experience required to understand what your pricing should be. You lack a bit of confidence, you aren't sure how to say no.

Remember YOU have overheads to think of and also your expertise are getting them more money, more exposure or fulfilling an idea they had.

Modern day slavery shouldn't be tolerated and you shouldn't accept this by any means.

Only give discounts if it's feasible to do so. These may be to encourage others, loyalty or seasonal. Whatever works with your business model.
