There are few things more useful than joining a sales rep on a visit to a school or interviewing an existing customer on what challenges brought them to buy your product.

Each year school staff have less time and tighter budgets, making it harder than ever to get a sale.

A way to get that sale? Work on TRUST.

Trust has a more critical role in the sales process in education than in other sectors because schools are all about children. And more directly, improving the life chances of those children.

Every supplier needs to demonstrate that they are worthy of their place in school. That means focusing on creating content that meets the teachers’ or school leaders’ needs first, rather than content that promotes your product or service or focuses too heavily on lead generation.

In this sector you need to build trust and then ask for the sale.
