⚡️How to maximise your online events⚡️⠀
⠀
A friend of mine asked me for some advice on how to share online content after the event has happened.⠀
⠀
They’re someone who’s used to attending events in person as a speaker and having a whole heap of beautiful event photography and attendee Instagram stories to share, and a general buzz and noise to benefit from afterward.⠀
⠀
Instead, at the moment events look like Zoom webinars, Zoom round tables, and IG and FB live interview styles chats.⠀
⠀
So how can you maximise your post-event exposure to really warrant the time and effort it took to host or be involved as a guest?
⠀
📷 Share a screenshot of the webinar or round table. Ask everyone to smile for a photo and capture as much of the energy as possible. Tag your attendees to encourage them to share for wider reach.
🎥 If it’s hosted on Zoom, make sure you’ve recorded it and ask permission of attendees if you can share a snippet of the best bits across your online channels. Share the recording in your email newsletter for those who couldn’t attend. You could also use that video content as a lead gen.
❣️ Share through stories or a post how it made you feel. Did you get warm fuzzy feels? Were you left feeling empowered and motivated? Did you leave feeling a little less lonely and more supported?
💬 Ask for feedback from attendees and share anecdotal messages. This works particularly well when hosting a Zoom event - ask people to share their feedback in the chat box before they exit the session. This way you’re getting their immediate reaction whilst they’re on that post-event high.
💡Share key nuggets of wisdom, insights and breakthroughs. Share the value to those who didn’t attend!
🖱 saveigtv.com is a website you can use to save down IGTVs from other people’s IG profiles. If you did a split screen live with someone on their channel and they weren’t able to save the video down for you, download it yourself and upload to your own IGTV! (Make sure you’re logged into your IG on desktop and upload the IGTV from your desktop too)⠀
