As we move closer to 2026, the future of marketing is becoming clearer: the brands that will grow the fastest will be those communicating the most intentionally.

We're entering a phase where being human matters more than ever.

Authenticity, clarity and emotional intelligence are no longer "nice to haves" - they'll be what set brands apart.

Ai is reshaping the industry, yes. But not in the way people thought it would.

It's not here to replace creativity, it's here to refine it.

It's here to sharpen ideas, not be used to replace our own.

It's here to support strategy, not create it.

It's here to amplify the work brands do intentionally, and expose the ones who aren't.

The future of marketing won't be automated, it'll be augmented.

Think: Human at the core, AI in the toolkit.

The next chapter belongs to the brands, and the agencies, who understand that.

And we're defining what that looks like.

Before you go ahead and spend even $1 on ads, three things need to be in place:

STEP 1: A clear message that positions you well
If you make your ad too complicated, not allowing people to get who and what you are in seconds, it won't matter - they'll be long gone. Positioning drives attention, interest, and quality of leads.

STEP 2: A strong, simple landing page experience
You don't need a fancy website. You don't need fancy paragraphs. You just need a clear journey that will remove any unnecessary information to help people take the next step fast and clearly.

STEP 3: A strategy based on data
Too many people and businesses run ads hoping they'll work without "doing" the work. To get a successful ad, you need to know your numbers. Who are you reaching? What message is performing the best? Who's your demographic? What are you trying to achieve from this? The more you know, the better a campaign you'll be able to put together.

These three are the key fundamentals for a well-performing ad campaign - one that will deliver the results you're looking for.

Without them, you're looking at a pretty expensive campaign.

A luxury brand can't survive in a £10 template.

Even when a product screams premium, it's easy for ads to give off "budget brand" impressions.

If you're running Facebook campaigns that look like everyone else's such as the same stock images, the same typical Canva layout, or the same overused CTA, you're cheapening your brand.

Ads create perception, and that's instantaneous.

Unfortunately, you can't claim to be a high-end brand if your creative looks mass market.

With everyone obsessing with likes on social media, what if we told you Instagram's algorithm is actually watching something else?

Here's what really pushes your posts further:

1. Comments & replies
2. Post saves
3. Shares

Why?

Because conversations signal genuine interest on the platform, saves show that your content is worth revisiting, and sharing is proof that your post needs to be seen by more people!

So instead of watching the love heart on your post increase, how about you begin creating content such as guides, how-tos, and tips people can save and share instead?

Likes may be good for the ego, but not necessarily for your business.

Have you ever seen ads come up on your social media that aren’t actually asking you to buy anything?

Well, this ad strategy isn’t a waste of money for businesses, it’s a smart move because it pushes brand awareness.

Ads that have been designed for brand awareness aim to get businesses seen and remembered, not to make quick sales or bring in quick leads. This is the first crucial step - skip it, and you risk selling to people who aren’t interested because they haven’t a clue who you are.

In this carousel, we’re breaking down:

1. What brand awareness is and why it’s important
2. Why some of the best-performing brands don’t lead with sales messages
3. How this stage plays a key role in long-term growth

So, if you’re looking into paid ads to make sales, then you’re going to need brand awareness behind you to back it.

Check it out and feel free to save it for when you’re mapping out your next campaign.

So, you’ve decided to run some paid ads for your business.

But how much should you really be spending on them each month?

This is one of the most common questions we get from business owners, and the truth is that it really does depend on your goals.

And while we don’t have a one-size fits all answer for you, we do have something simple you can takeaway and try:

➡ IF YOU'VE NEVER RUN ADS BEFORE...
If this space is completely new to you, then we personally recommend you starting with around £5-£15/day (around £150-£450/month) to gather data, see what resonates, and refine your messaging.

➡ IF YOU'RE AIMING TO GENERATE LEADS OR SALES...
Aim for £500-£1,500/month (depending on your industry, competition, and audience size) as this allows room for you to retarget, test, and scale.

➡ IF YOU'RE TRYING TO SCALE ABOVE YOUR ORGANIC REACH
If you know you’ve already got sales coming in organically and your messaging and product/service is working, then we would say you’re ready to scale up to £3K+ per month as this will get your ROI and allow you to grow further.

But when it comes to ads, it’s key to remember that it’s not about how much you spend, it’s about how smartly you spend it.

To get the maximum return, you need to test for the right creative, speak to the right people, and let the data guide you on your next steps.

Spending money on ads but getting nothing in return?

If this is you, chances are it's down to the ad, not the budget.

The truth is, most ads that end up underperforming are either missing the necessary visuals or simply just lacking clarity in the messaging.

So, what does make a great ad?

Today we've broken the answer down in this carousel post so that you can see clearly what your ad needs to bring in your desired results.

Feel free to save for later or send us a DM if you have any specific ad-related questions!

A lot of the time, we see people either rush their captions because they don't think they're that important, or hand them entirely over to Chat GPT.

But as tempting as that is, your caption really is your moment to try and get people to care about your content.

We see a lot of posts with nice visuals but a caption that:

1. Repeats what's already on the image
2. Says "link in bio" which gives people no reason to click
3. Or is full-blown AI (and you can tell which sparks no creativity from yourself)

So instead of overlooking your captions, use them as a chance to relate to people, explain, and sell without directly selling.

We've uploaded a graphic breaking down exactly how's the best way to write captions that receive the most engagement.

Swipe through, save it for later, and maybe next time... you'll see your posts perform better.

Trying to grow your business on social media but not sure whether you should be boosting your posts or building ad campaigns?

This is one of the biggest confusions we find business owners tend to face - and honestly, it makes sense.

On the surface, they both look similar, but they work in completely different ways.

To help clear things up, we’ve created this graphic where you’re able to clearly see the side-by-side comparison of what a boosted ad and an ad campaign looks like – and when you should choose them.

Not everyone is ready to run paid ads and that's okay.

We decided to put together this post because when we speak with business owners, we find that a lot of them feel pressured to start paid ads because they've heard how much they work. And yes, it is the next logical step in their growth, but they only really work when there are already a few key pieces in place.

As a business, we focus on helping other businesses get as much investment from their advertising as possible. This is why we're always transparent with what's needed because the last thing we want to see business owners do is throw money down the drain.

So, check out this guide and ask yourself:

1. Are people already showing interest in your product or service?
2. Do you really know who your ideal customer is and how they think?
3. Have you already made some sales, even just a few, without paid ads?
4. Do you have a realistic budget to test what works and then refine what doesn't?

If your answer to most of these is yes, you might be ready to start dipping your toe into the ad space.
