Creativity is at the heart of everything we do at Digital Fusion, ask us about it! Creativity is at the heart of everything we do at Digital Fusion whether that means helping you prepare a killer presentation or being engaged on a branding project for a global business. Our work combines creativity, manufacturing and implementation. Most of our projects include more than one of the great services we offer but, as a snapshot, have a look at the categories on our website.

"They're destroying our ancient woodland to make paper!" is a reason often used to justify avoiding print, but is it true?

In a word, no. Woodlands are not suitable for making paper as the grain structure of the wood is wrong. We literally can't make paper out of woodland trees, even if we wanted to (which we don't!).

Wood to make paper is grown in paper forests, specifically planted and sustainably managed, just to make paper. It's a farmed crop just like wheat or potatoes.

What else have you been told about paper?

How many times have you read this statement? Hundreds, even thousands of times? But is it true?

Paper is made from wood, a renewable resource. It is one of the most recycled commodities in Europe and a large portion of the energy used to produce paper comes from renewable biomass. Print and paper can often be the best way to communicate and, if responsibly recycled, is environmentally sustainable.

The truth is that's it's perfectly ok to print your emails, just make sure you recycle them when you're finished.

WRONG! The paper industry does NOT cut down rainforests to make paper. Why?

Glad you asked. Rainforests are made up of tropical hardwoods which are NOT suitable for making paper. That's right, despite what you've been told, it's not possible to make paper from rainforests.

Wood to make paper is grown in paper forests, specifically planted and sustainably managed, just to make paper. It's a farmed crop just like wheat or potatoes.

Weird right? What else have you been told about paper?

Paper is regularly vilified as being environmentally destructive, we’re sure you’ve read that kind of opinion online.

We were wondering, what’s the biggest reason you’ve been told not to use paper?

Are you ready to welcome your teams back to the office?

This is a great opportunity to provide your people with the tools they need for the ‘new normal’.

What are those tools? Glad you asked.

Our basic ‘Return to Work Pack’ contains branded sanitiser, a facemask and anti-bac wipes, all of which are essential things to have on desks. We also cover the things that are nice to have like headsets, phone stands, water bottles, pens, personalised mugs and more (we love merch!).

Most of our friends are also including a ‘welcome back’ letter too (just a suggestion!).

Our cardboard packaging is printed on 100% recycled, sustainable and recyclable material (guilt free!) and there’s loads of amazing print options to make sure your brand makes an impact.

If you prefer a branded tote bag instead of a box, we’ve got you covered too. All our bags are 100% sustainably sourced cotton and are made to be used and used.

If you’re welcoming your people back to the office soon, slide into our DMs.

We’d love to talk to you.

As the pandemic accelerates, 2020 will be remembered as one of the most challenging periods in living memory. However, at Digital Fusion, we’re feeling more grateful than we ever have.

Why? Glad you asked.

We think of our clients as our friends and we make sure that we treat them that way. We’ve offered support where we can and helped them to get though some difficult patches. In return, our friends have helped us develop in new ways, pushed us to deliver more and we’re are very grateful to be a stronger business as a result.

We always knew we had a fantastic local community around us on Percy Street (London W1) and 2020 has proven how important that community really is. Our neighbours, old and new, have talked to us a lot this year and we’re very grateful to have gotten to know them better as a result.

We’re incredibly fortunate to work with a diverse range of businesses from one person agencies to global corporations. Whatever their scale, the most important thing about each and every one of those businesses is the relationship we have with them. This has always been true but, perhaps, we didn’t fully appreciate the trust and confidence that our friends show us. We’re very grateful to be able to see this more clearly.

Our suppliers have gone above and beyond to deliver our materials and distribute our projects in the most difficult operating circumstances this year. We’re very grateful to have the vast majority of our projects delivered on time as a result of the support of our suppliers.

We’ve also had the time to focus on our business at all levels and as a result we’ve got some great news to share with you in January. We’re introducing a new look and an expanded set of creative services to take us forward into 2021 and beyond. We’re very grateful to have had the time to do this properly.

We’re grateful to still be in business and our team and their families are all safe and well. We know how fortunate we are to be able to say that.

What we’re really trying to say is thank you. Thank you to our suppliers, thank you to our team and of course, thank you to all our friends. You know who you are!

Merry Christmas!
