Every mum in this photo is raising a child with ARFID.

Different families.Different journeys.Different stories.

Yet we all understand the food anxieties, the safe foods, the worries, the advocating, and the victories that others might never notice.

A reminder that sometimes the people who understand your journey best are standing right beside you.

There is literally nothing that comes easy with being a SEN parent. Im jealous of “normal” families who get to do life opposite to us! Who get to look forward to sending their child back to school, knowing they will be having a great time with their friends. Instead it’s back to panicking if the school will call, if she has eaten anything, if she is regulated, the list goes on.

The count down is on until she is off for 7 weeks! Then back to something completely different.
